With extensive experience in the sales, leasing, management and optimisation of commercial property, Ian brings a practical and well-rounded perspective to every client engagement. Over the course of his career, he has worked across a wide range of commercial property sectors, assisting property owners, investors, tenants and business owners with acquisitions, leasing strategies, sales transactions and asset performance.

In recent years, Ian has increasingly focused on commercial property investment, acquiring and improving his own commercial assets through value-add strategies designed to increase income, enhance tenant appeal and create long-term value.

 

He has built a growing portfolio of industrial, retail and mixed-use commercial properties, providing firsthand experience in acquisition, asset management, tenant relationships and value creation.

As both an investor and advisor, Ian understands the opportunities and challenges commercial property owners face. His practical ownership experience allows him to provide advice grounded in real-world investment outcomes rather than purely transactional experience.

Today, Ian works with investors, business owners and property owners to help them acquire, optimise and grow commercial property portfolios. His approach combines market knowledge, investment analysis, risk assessment and a strong focus on identifying opportunities to create value and improve asset performance.

Outside of business, Ian is married with three children and enjoys an active lifestyle. He is a regular participant in the Coast to Coast, New Zealand's iconic multisport event.​
